Indole-3-carbinol (I3C) from Now Foods is a naturally occurring substance found in cruciferous vegetables such as broccoli, cauliflower, Brussels sprouts, kale and cabbage. I3C is formed by the breakdown of glucosinolates, which are contained in these vegetables, under the influence of chewing and digestion. I3C supports endocrine health, particularly for oestrogens, which contributes to the health of the reproductive and endocrine systems in both men and women.  Above this, it has powerful antioxidant properties that protect cells from free radical damage and oxidative stress.
