Thiamine, riboflavin, niacin, pantothenic acid and vitamin B6 support the conversion of food into energy, which contributes to efficient energy metabolism. Thiamine, niacin, vitamin B6, vitamin B12 and inositol are essential for the normal function of the nervous system - they support the production of neurotransmitters. Vitamin B6, folate and vitamin B12 are involved in the formation of red blood cells. PABA is often included in the B vitamin group due to its action in the synthesis of folic acid and in supporting the protection of the skin against the negative effects of UV radiation. Choline plays a role in brain development, liver function and liver fat transport. Biotin is supportive in maintaining the health of skin, hair and nails.
